Papeleira has an integrated management system: quality, environment and safety, compatible with ISO9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

In terms of the quality of the paper admitted to the commercial recovery – recycling, the company follows the “Best Practices for the global inspection of Recovered Paper” and the standard EN 643.

Our products are manufactured using an on-line control system with internal specifications and according to the laboratory’s own quality-controlled laboratory. Tests and tests are performed in accordance with international standards using calibrated equipment.

Throughout the years, Papeleira has modernized its production process, significantly investing in more advanced equipment and implementing measures to minimize the environmental impacts of its activity, a predominant factor in the sustainable growth of the company and its competitiveness.

The Environmental License nº 209/1.1/2017 and subsequent amendments, as well as the company’s Policy, are available for all interested parties (employees, customers, suppliers and civil society).

These factors, combined with Papeleira’s high production capacity, warrant the company an important position in the paper-recycling circuit, and consequently a fundamental role in the compliance with the recycling standards set by the European Union for Portugal.
